Recruiting the master is generally the best way to go since they can use the top-tier spells. In every quest except Blue's, you can do Time and Space magic quests with the ultimate payoff being either the ability to recruit the master of each questline, or buy the bottom-tier spells. Arcane Magic has some good recruits, and gives you time to fill your roster if you want to avoid hiring Slime. Boring, but practical.īeware your line-up when you do magical gift quests! And even more beware which gifts you plan to do first! For instance, choosing to do Shadow Magic first opens Silence up for recruiting, while Light Magic has no recruits but a handful of decent treasures.


Sacrifice extra skill slots for powered suits and zero swords and a good number of them can just punch final bosses to death. Mechs are virtually all god-tier with minimal effort.
